Now, upon the news of Detective Kerrys murder, two seasoned FBI profilers, Agent Strahm and Agent Perez, arrive in the terrified community to assist the veteran Detective Hoffman in sifting through Jigsaws latest grisly remains and piecing together the puzzle. There's not much here and where they had some opportunity to give more, they didn't. Jigsaw and his apprentice Amanda are dead. If you're looking for blood and guts, I trust you will be disappointed.

In the defense of opposed opinions, not everyone who watches these movies watch it for the message, but to see blood and guts, so your opinion will depend on what you're looking for. Its more of a thriller with some gruesome images (like the first film) than a full blown horror movie (like parts II & III). Everything else was simply to entertain/enlighten. This movie was focused around Agent Straham from beginning to end. He never misses a beat with everything that's happened, and this movie I feel was the most clever of them all. Understand the story and the philosophy behind John Kramer. To those who think that Saw has been dragged on for too long and think the games are getting old, I insist you open your eyes and see the saga for what it is meant to be.
